Based on the principle of the Archimedes screw, the PowControl allows representative samples of powders to be taken directly from the process in continuous or sequential mode from free falling powders in a chute or bulk powders in a filled silo or vessel.
The frequency and duration of sampling can be programmed according to the individual process by batch size or transfer time.
The PowControl sampler is constucted from 316L stainless steel and can have a surface finish of 0.4μm Ra.
It is suitable for use with a CIP process or can be fully assembled for manual cleaning.
The PowControl can also be adapted to work inside hazardous areas.
ATEX versions are available for ATEX Zones 1/21 & 2/22.
